How to study for free in London

Tuition fees are frequently a source of controversy in the UK especially in London where fees are likely to be substantially higher, but there are options available to enable students to access education at a lower cost or no cost all, such as further education courses and apprenticeships.

Under the one-year trial for the 2018/19 academic year, the Adult Education Budget (AEB) will enable more eligible adults to access funding for Education. Funding is available for eligible unemployed adults, young people aged 19 to 23 with skills below level 2, and adults aged 19 or over without English and Maths up to level 2. For those who do not, the AEB will also contribute 50% of the cost to those who do not fall into these categories or earn less than £15,736.50 annual gross salary. Find out more here.
